The real issue
You shampoo, you condition, you've backed off the heat — and by Thursday your hair still looks like it's asking for more. That's not a shampoo problem. It's what happens between washes that no cleanser touches.
Healthy hair reflects light evenly. Rough up the surface — heat, color, everyday wear — and the shine goes flat, no matter what you wash with.
Dry, brittle ends don't wait for your next haircut. They give out at the first brush-through or blow-dry.
Product, sweat and pollution build up faster than a regular wash clears them — especially right where it's hardest to reach.
How it works
It's used before you shampoo, not after — that's what makes it a treatment instead of just another step. The wait time is what lets the oils actually work before the rinse takes it all away.
Massage it into scalp and lengths, focusing on the areas most prone to buildup.
5–15 minutes for the 9-oil blend to deeply penetrate the fiber and visibly soften scalp and strand.
Wash it away with shampoo — what's left is visibly softer, shinier, more nourished, easier-to-manage hair. Never heavy.
What to expect
This is a treatment, not a supplement — the first effect shows up at the first rinse. Repeated over time, that effect compounds, the way it does with any nourishing treatment.
First use
From the very first rinse: easier to detangle, a noticeable shine, never weighed down.
With regular use
Nourished fiber holds up better against brushing, heat and styling — ends look healthier and break less over time.
Over time
Used consistently before shampoo, it keeps the buildup that weighs hair down in check — roots look and feel lighter.
This is where a subscription actually matters: one bottle lasts about a month of regular treatments. Most people who fall off don't fall off because it stopped working — they run out and reordering isn't automatic. That's exactly what a subscription fixes.
Alternatives
There aren't many real options for nourishing dry, brittle hair — and each one asks for something in return: time, money or a full day of greasy hair.

Formula
Sunflower, castor, sweet almond, argan, hemp, olive and avocado — a rich base built to nourish dry, brittle hair, plus rosemary and peppermint to finish the treatment.
Rosmarinus officinalis
One of the most researched botanicals in hair care, used for generations to invigorate the scalp. Works alongside the rest of the blend to nourish and strengthen the fiber.
Mentha piperita
Refreshes the scalp during application and leaves a clean, tingling feeling once you rinse.
Sunflower · castor · almond · argan · hemp · olive · avocado
The part that actually nourishes: it works into the hair during the wait time, then rinses out with your shampoo — no weight left behind.
We didn't pick rosemary by accident — it's one of the few hair botanicals with a real body of published research behind it, which is exactly why we built the formula around it, alongside eight other oils chosen for how they nourish, feel and perform.
Like any formula built on essential oils, this one carries a botanical fragrance note — the full ingredient list, allergens included, is on the packaging.
How to use

As a pre-shampoo treatment, 1–3 times a week works for most hair types — start with once a week and adjust based on how dry your hair and scalp are. Avoid contact with eyes. For external use only.

Questions
Yes. This is a cosmetic pre-shampoo treatment, not a medication — it's applied before you wash and rinsed out, so it doesn't stay in contact with anything you apply afterward. If you're on a prescribed treatment, keep following your dermatologist's plan; don't replace it with this product.
Yes, with one thing to know. The formula is built around rosemary, peppermint and other botanical essential oils — natural, but still fragrant, and in rare cases fragrance can trigger a reaction on very reactive skin. If your scalp is sensitive, patch-test a small area before your first full application.
If you have diagnosed dermatitis, psoriasis or any open irritation, check with your dermatologist first.
One more thing: if your scalp is often congested with oil and product residue, pair it once a week with our Deep Cleanse Scalp Scrub, Rosemary & Mint — the scrub clears the buildup so the treatment can actually do its job.
Yes. Because it rinses out, it works across textures — straight, wavy, curly or coily, fine or thick — without weighing any of them down.
It's a good fit for textured hair specifically — the rich oil blend nourishes without leaving curls flat once it's rinsed out. It's also fine on color-treated and chemically processed hair. If you have very fine hair, start with once a week and adjust from there. And yes, it works on beards too.
Please check with your doctor first. Essential oils — rosemary included — are commonly flagged for caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and that's not a judgment call we can make on your behalf.
We'd rather tell you that plainly than reassure you about something we're not qualified to clear.
Always before. This is a pre-shampoo treatment: apply it to wet hair and scalp, let it sit for 5–15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and shampoo as usual. It's not meant to be left in after you wash.
Time of day doesn't matter — what matters is doing it before you shampoo, not after.
Yes. For intensive hydration, apply it before bed and leave it on overnight, then wash it out in the morning. It's the deeper version of the same treatment — use it when hair is especially dry or brittle, not necessarily every time.
No. Since this is a pre-wash treatment, it's designed to be thoroughly washed out with shampoo. Your hair is left feeling soft, nourished and manageable — not heavy or oily.
One bottle lasts about a month with 1–3 treatments a week. That's why every tier delivers one bottle's worth of coverage per month, whether you choose monthly, quarterly or twice-a-year delivery.
You can skip a delivery, pause or cancel your subscription at any time from your account. There's no minimum term.
Five minutes before you shampoo. You'll feel the difference at the very first rinse.
